How to Make Ice cream soda Candles is a candle-making project that teaches you how to make ice cream soda candles. On a sweltering, humid summer day, who can resist an ice cream soda? Is that the special treat you order when you go out for ice cream with the family? I can’t help myself.
It’s the ideal dessert, but how did it arise out of nowhere to whet our appetites? When Robert Greene created his first ice cream soda in 1834, it wasn’t hot or humid. His concoction was a blunder that altered our perception of ice cream.
When things became too hectic for him, he threw the scoop into the soda water. Ice cream soda was created.
What better way to sip your ice cream soda than with a candle? If you are a connoisseur seeking additional paraphernalia, consider adding a summer fun candle to your list.
Making The Best Cream Soda Candles
Here are the steps to making your own DIY candle.
Materials Required:
- Silicone Ice Cream Scoop Mold
- Silicone Ice Cream Dish Candle Mold
- Silicone Blackberry or Fruit Mold
- Paraffin Wax Translucent
- Wax for Paraffin Candles For the ice cream scoop and soda
- Wick
- Oil of Fragrance (optional)
- Wick Pin
- Wax sprinkles, gummy bears, gummy worms, cherries, and berries
- Drill and drill bit

Directions:
- Pour the translucent wax into the dish mold when it has melted.
- De-mold the wax dish once it cools down
- Gather enough paraffin wax for the scoop, berries, and soda
- Melt paraffin wax and pour it into the blackberry mold.
- Allow the berries to cool before removing them. Take them out and arrange them in the silicone scoop mold. I kept the scoop wax clear and the blackberry wax purple.
- Place the blackberries in the mold and pour the wax over them. Check that the wax isn’t too hot, since this can cause the berries to melt.
- De-mold the scoop
- Now for the soda
- I tinted the remainder of the wax mocha for the soda.
- Melt the soda wax and color it
- Allow the dish to cool completely after filling it two-thirds of the way with soda. Fill the dish with the remaining soda wax and place the scoop on top. The scoop should sink somewhat but remain adhered to the soda wax.
- Drill a hole in the scoop and ice cream dish for the wick.
Add some wax candies, wax cool whip, and a cherry on the top of your candle. These cream soda candles are ideal for summer birthday parties, picnics, social gatherings, and other events.
